Cote d&#8217;Ivoire)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>At a public sitting held today, the Special Chamber of the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea, constituted to deal with the Dispute concerning delimitation of the maritime boundary between Ghana and C\u00f4te d&#8217;Ivoire in the Atlantic Ocean (Ghana\/C\u00f4te d&#8217;Ivoire), delivered its Judgment. The Judgment was read by Judge Boualem Bouguetaia, President of the Special Chamber.<\/p>\n<p>The court found in most instances of the allegations brought by Cote d\u2019Ivoire that Ghana was not in violation.<\/p>\n<p>Today\u2019s decision followed six years of negotiations, and 10 meetings to reach amicable settlement of the case.<\/p>\n<p>Among others, the court found that Cote d\u2019Ivoire did not provide any evidence that the negotiations did not provide any meaningful outcomes.<\/p>\n<p>The Chamber found that Cote d\u2019Ivoire did not prove that Ghana has acted in bad faith in the matter.
